Comedian Seo Gyeong-seok opens up about having been a victim of fraud in the past.
On the Nov. 17 episode of KBS2's Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together, Sa Gong-ju's campus life is portrayed as she visits a university with a campus-romance fantasy.
On this day, Sa Gong-ju visits the Korea National University of Cultural Heritage, which carries on traditional legacies, and meets a freshman from the class of '25 to get a glimpse of MZ-style college life. In particular, when Hye-eun asks about today's students' meeting culture, Hong Jin-hee says, "Are there any geezer-looking students?" as a surprise question, drawing laughter. Meanwhile, when the freshmen recognize Hong Jin-hee, who played the foul-mouthed character in the movie Sunny, she delivers bold fan service and receives cheers from the students.
Also, the all-round brain Seo Gyeong-seok, who is perfect at both comedy and studying, appears and draws attention. A Seoul National University alumnus who has acquired various certifications, Seo Gyeong-seok reveals that he became the first entertainer to score a perfect score on the Korean History Proficiency Test and even published a history book, and is active as a "history storyteller." Responding with delight, Hong Jin-hee asks Seo Gyeong-seok, who showed perfect chemistry with Jo Hye-ryeon in the comedy corner "My mom," a pointed question, "Did Hye-ryeon dump you?" which piques curiosity.
As if on cue, Seo Gyeong-seok confesses about the fraud he suffered in the past. Hearing this, Park Won-sook expresses great delight and shows a sense of kinship at having gone through a similar experience, eliciting laughter.
Afterward, history top lecturer Seo Gyeong-seok gives a lecture on the Three Kingdoms period. However, even veteran Seo Gyeong-seok runs into trouble in front of the unpredictable Sa Gong-ju students. When Park Won-sook, having heard that the Han River basin was historically important, asks, "Is that why real estate around the Han River is expensive?" and shows interest in real estate, Seo Gyeong-seok is thrown off.
Meanwhile, the five family members ride a broad-sail boat and feel the atmosphere of the Baekma River. Seo Gyeong-seok fires off sharp one-liners and excites the Gongju residents with catchphrases that defined eras, then holds an impromptu onboard show and displays his long-hidden singing ability. With humor, erudition and energy on display, Seo Gyeong-seok's charms are expected to radiate 300%.
You can watch a day with history storyteller Seo Gyeong-seok on Nov. 17, Monday at 8:30 p.m. on KBS2's Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together.
