'2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon' completed an all-time MC lineup.
On the 17th, OSEN reported that the MCs for next month's '2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon' will be IVE's Ahn Yujin, DAY6's Young K, and NCT Dream's Jaemin.
Previously, the MCs for 'SBS Gayo Daejeon' were Ahn Yujin, NCT's Doyoung, and TXT's Yeonjun, who handled the role for three consecutive times from last summer·year-end to this summer, showing steady hosting. This year-end was also expected to have the three as 'Gayo Daejeon' MCs, but Doyoung is scheduled to begin active duty enlistment on Dec. 8, making an unavoidable MC change.
The newly selected hosts are DAY6's Young K and NCT Dream's Jaemin. Young K debuted in 2015 as DAY6's vocalist and bassist and has gained great popularity, also recognized for his songwriting·composing abilities. In addition, he proved his hosting skills by serving as a fixed DJ on MBC Radio's 'Idol Radio' season 1 in 2020 and as a DJ for KBS Cool FM's 'DAY6's Kiss the Radio.'
Jaemin is an NCT member with a global fandom who is expected to heat up the 'SBS Gayo Daejeon' venue with bright energy and a lively atmosphere. In particular, since Jaemin has had almost no experience as a music show or event MC, expectations are growing for the new side of him to be shown at this '2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon.'
IVE's Ahn Yujin, who will work with them, set a record of being selected as an 'SBS Gayo Daejeon' MC six consecutive times starting in 2022. She has established herself as the show's main hostess, loved for her stable tone, witty lines and surprising stage charm. Interest is also focused on the fresh chemistry she will show with the new MCs.
Meanwhile, the '2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon' featuring the three will be held on Dec. 25 at Incheon Inspire Arena. The currently announced lineup includes NCT Dream, The Boyz, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, ITZY, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, TREASURE, ENHYPEN, IVE, NMIXX, LE SSERAFIM, ANTHEM, BOYNEXTDOOR, ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, TWS, NCT WISH, ILLIT, BABYMONSTER, Hearts2Hearts, KiiiKiii, ALLDAY PROJECT, and CORTIS. Additional lineup announcements will be made later.
