On the Oct. 16 episode of the SBS variety show My Little Old Boy, Eun Ji-won, who quietly remarried in October to a stylist wife nine years his junior, was shown visiting Kang Seung-yoon's home.
That day, Kang Seung-yoon congratulated Eun Ji-won on his marriage and presented him with a watch he had prepared himself. When Kang Seung-yoon said, "Have a good time with your sister-in-law," Eun Ji-won, seemingly moved, replied, "She really takes good care of the people around her," expressing his thanks. When Eun Ji-won asked, "Does that mean I should keep appointments on time?", Kang Seung-yoon drew laughs by saying, "No, it means have happy times." He went on to praise Eun Ji-won's bright mood, saying, "You seem much different these days."
Eun Ji-won confessed that he has changed since getting married. "I've become more cautious lately. I think a bit before I speak or act. I wonder how much hardship my wife would suffer if I did something," he admitted. He also revealed that his wife said, "If you're going to cause trouble outside, let's play games at home." "She, who originally didn't even play games, plays better than me. She finishes the games I gave up on," he said, continuing to boast about his wife.
He also praised her cooking. "There are failures, but it's delicious. The effort she makes to cook for me is so lovely. I no longer have to eat alone like you," he said with a "flower smile," surprising the panelists. Eun Ji-won named "janchi guksu" as the most delicious dish. "I've never tasted my mother's cooking, but my wife makes it exactly the same as my mother did. It feels like my mother brought it herself," he said, offering heartfelt praise. He added, "If it's not tasty, I say it's not tasty. That's how it gets fixed. If it's too salty, it can harm your health," revealing his frank eating habits and prompting laughter.
Notably, while watching the monitor, Shin Dong-yup explained, "His wife has been his stylist for more than 10 years," pointing out their long-standing relationship.
Eun Ji-won also said, "She usually picks out all the clothes I wear. I don't even know where my socks or mask are," and added with an embarrassed smile, "When I finish showering and come out of the room, my pajamas are already set. Is this too much boasting?" He continued to brag, saying, "It's just her tendency to take care of things. She has a clear routine. She lives as if she's in a model house or hotel. She's very tidy."
The studio reacted with a mix of surprise and warmth, saying, "Eun Ji-won has become completely smitten," and, "I can't believe he's talking like that."
