Group NCT DREAM continues another rapid-growth narrative.
NCT DREAM on the 17th at 6 p.m. released the full tracks of their sixth mini album "Beat It Up" and the music video for the title track "Beat It Up" on various music sites. It is the first new release about four months after the full-length fifth album "Go Back To The Future" released last July.
While the previous work retraced the team's shining moments through "the direction of time," this new release takes "the speed of time" as its keyword and tells the present and future of the seven members who have run toward their dreams at their own speeds since childhood.
The album throughout conveys the team's ongoing confidence in their growth and a bold message that they will move forward in their own way without wavering by anyone's standards.
The title track "Beat It Up" is a hip-hop track that features bold kicks and heavy bass; the energetic beat with repetitive signature vocal sounds and witty section transitions creates an addictive rhythm, and the whispering intro and tight rapping maximize the song's tension and sense of speed.
