Lee Dong-hwi, Cha Eun-woo's younger brother, appeared on YouTube as a genius AI researcher who looks exactly like his older brother.
On the 16th, a lecture on the YouTube channel Sebasi uploaded a video titled "Korea AI Summit 화제의 연구원 | 조용민 | AI전문가 AI브랜딩 이동휘 | 고민용민 VC-log".
That day Jo Yong-min introduced researcher Lee Dong-hwi, saying, "Today our Unbound Lab is presenting our solution with the researcher who planned and developed it at Korea's largest AI event."
Known as Cha Eun-woo's younger brother, Lee Dong-hwi graduated from Fudan University in China and is reported to have joined Unbound Lab after working at a major domestic advertising company. In particular, he briefly appeared on the June broadcast of tvN's "You Quiz on the Block," which stirred heated attention.
Lee Dong-hwi explained his background, saying, "I majored in media in China. I worked in advertising and discussed a lot of personal concerns with the CEO, and because of the CEO's advice that perhaps we could resolve these issues, I joined the planning and development. I am grateful that I was invited to the AI Summit, which gave me the opportunity to give this speech."
Asked what he would present, Lee Dong-hwi answered, "Because I've lived a life somewhat close to celebrities, I tend to focus on the concerns and interests they have."
He went on to explain, "For example, they seem to always worry about how to better communicate with their fans. And I felt that not only individual celebrities but also entertainment companies and brands are very concerned about this kind of data feedback, so I discussed with the CEO whether it would be good to plan a solution that aggregates these data."
He also said, "I have seen many celebrities suffer a lot because of malicious comments. Of course they should accept and grow from constructive feedback, but with so much media there are excessive malicious comments. Moreover, it is now an era of individual influencers. In a society where media exposure to people is so great, as much as many people show interest, we are planning with the CEO to create a system that protects them."
Meanwhile, Lee Dong-hwi appeared as a speaker with Jo Yong-min, CEO of Unbound Lab, at the lecture held on Oct. 10 at "AI Summit Seoul & Expo 2025" under the theme "AI recipe: AI made for my brother evolves into a brand verification tool."
Lee Dong-hwi is reported to have lectured on the AI data crawling model, a current topic in the entertainment industry. An AI data crawling model is a technology that automatically collects and extracts data from websites and converts it so AI models can immediately use it.
Lee Dong-hwi explored efficiencies in using various combinations of foundation models to solve niche management problems in different industries with AI, and is reported to have covered applications of that work as a brand verification engine. It is assessed that the "AI for my brother" experiment, which began as a personal motivation, expanded into a productization direction that can be used for venture investment and corporate advisory.
