Actor and entrepreneur Song Ji-hyo candidly shared a small concern she has as a company president.
On the 15th, a short-form video titled "The company CEO asks to eat together" was posted on the YouTube channel "Jihyosong." The video showed Song Ji-hyo lost in deep thought alone ahead of lunchtime.
Song Ji-hyo said, "My teams always try to eat together with me, so sometimes they want to go eat what they want individually," and she added with an embarrassed smile, "I'm not forcing them at all. But I like eating together. Is this being old-fashioned?"
She then called an employee and asked, "How will you have your meal?" but when it seemed the employee chose to eat separately, Song Ji-hyo was briefly at a loss for words and said sulkily, "Yes... I understand..." The conflict between the CEO's desire to look after meals and the employees' freedom to choose what to eat drew laughs.
In a previously released commute vlog, Song Ji-hyo also showed candidly the healing and real-life concerns in her CEO routine, saying while walking to the company with her face covered by a hat and mask, "I needed a time like this today."
Meanwhile, Song Ji-hyo currently serves as the CEO of an underwear brand she spent eight years preparing and launching. She expressed affection for the brand, saying, "Having meetings and coming up with ideas every day is so rewarding," and "As repeat purchases increase, I can't be careless anymore."
Recently on a broadcast she directly mentioned, "Sales have noticeably increased," and the upward trend continues.
