Group BTOB members Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Im Hyunsik and Peniel won the best vocal award at the 2025 KGMA.
BTOB proved their immense popularity by winning the best vocal award at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards with iM Bank (2025 KGMA), held on the 15th at Incheon Inspire Arena.
Now in its second year, the KGMA is an awards ceremony launched last year by Ilgan Sports to mark its 55th anniversary, and it quickly established itself as a representative K-pop festival of Korea by showcasing differentiated content that highlights K-pop artists and works loved by domestic and international fans over the year.
The best vocal award is given to an artist who delivered a deep emotional impact to the public through outstanding vocals and music.
BTOB Company artists Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Im Hyunsik and Peniel released a new song each month from October to December last year through the BECOMING PROJECT, coloring the year-end with emotion. In March this year they compiled those into the EP album BTODAY, and BTOB, which received great love for singing warm comfort and hopeful tomorrows, became the recipient of the best vocal award.
BTOB said immediately after winning the award, "It is a great joy and happiness just to stand on the same stage with such amazing artists, and receiving this precious award is an honor for our family. Above all, to Melody (the official fandom name), who are our pride and courage, thank you and we love you today as well. As befits the best vocal award, BTOB will continue to work hard and sing."
That day BTOB heated up the venue further by delivering a passionate performance along with their award. A medley of hit songs loved by global fans — Peniel's "My Wish," Lee Minhyuk's "I Can't Be Without You," and Seo Eunkwang and Im Hyunsik's "Missing You" — drew an enthusiastic response.
In addition, BTOB passionately performed the title track of the EP they released in March, "Love Today (LOVE TODAY)," proving their reputation as a "group you can trust to listen to" by shaking fans' hearts with a dazzling umbrella-themed performance and flawless live vocals.
