"MZ wannabe icon" IVE (IVE: An Yujin·Gaeul·Rei·Jang Wonyoung·Liz·Leeseo) once again proved the "IVE syndrome."
IVE won four awards at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards (hereinafter "2025 KGMA") held at Incheon Inspire Arena on the 15th, including the grand prize "2025 Grand Song," the main award "Best Music 10," the "ENA Kpop Artist" award, and the "Best Global Kpop Star" award, recognizing their formidable global influence. This year, the group, which received much love with the mini third album pre-release track "REBEL HEART," the title track "ATTITUDE," and the mini fourth album title track "XOXZ," added greater meaning by proving their brilliant progress with four trophies.
IVE, through their agency Starship Entertainment, said, "We were really happy to receive a lot of love this year through various activities, and we are even prouder to be able to share the joy of these awards with DIVE (official fan club name) four times at the 2025 KGMA. The members always think a lot about how to make IVE's color more distinct, and we will do our best to double the love we received by living up to the weight of this award."
They also expressed gratitude, saying, "We feel we can always stand on stage thanks to DIVE who love our music and everyone who supports us. We will continue to repay you with music and performances that tell IVE's story." They added, "We recently started our world tour in Seoul. We are very excited at the thought of meeting DIVE around the world in person. We are working hard to prepare great stages, so we hope you look forward to them."
That day IVE appeared in silver-toned, tectonic styling, signaling a more conceptual stage and raising expectations. Opening with the dreamy yet sophisticated sound of "XOXZ," they delivered a powerful performance led by An Yujin and then performed "GOTCHA (Baddest Eros)," a track from the mini fourth album that had been shown only at concerts, creating an immersive experience that was hard to look away from. Adorning the stage with a mysterious dance break using fabric, IVE finished with the stage for "REBEL HEART," which had achieved a perfect all-kill (PAK) on domestic music charts, exploding with overwhelming emotion and energy and heating up the venue.
IVE solidified the "IVE syndrome," lifting their 20th music show trophy this year alone with 11 wins for "REBEL HEART," four wins for "ATTITUDE," and five wins for "XOXZ." In addition, from their 2022 single album 2 "LOVE DIVE" through single album 3 "After LIKE," full album 1 "I've IVE," mini album 1 "I'VE MINE," mini album 2 "IVE SWITCH," mini album 3 "IVE EMPATHY," and mini album 4 "IVE SECRET," they consecutively sold more than 1 million copies for seven albums, placing them in the ranks of "seven consecutive million sellers" based on distributor figures.
Also, from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, they opened their second world tour, "SHOW WHAT I AM," at Seoul KSPO DOME (formerly Olympic Gymnastics Arena), kicking off their global activities. Having once again proven their unique presence through the 2025 KGMA, anticipation is building for the new records IVE will write in domestic and international music markets.
Meanwhile, IVE plans to continue their second world tour, "SHOW WHAT I AM," across various countries in Asia, Europe, the United States and Oceania.
