Actor Kim Yoo-jung candidly shared her thoughts about the intense attention surrounding her during her child actor days.

That day, with Kim Yoo-jung appearing as a guest, Jeong Jae-hyung mentioned Kim Yoo-jung's popularity that had continued since her child actor days and said, "I'm so curious how you lived in everyday life. What was it like when you went to school?" expressing his honest curiosity.
In response, Kim Yoo-jung said, "I hardly ever talked about those things," and Jeong Jae-hyung asked, "Exactly. When you were at school, everyone must have recognized you, right?"
Kim Yoo-jung said, "You couldn't wear a mask when going to school. There were no masks like that back then, and I went around comfortably," adding, "I attended three different elementary schools. I transferred a lot," she confessed. Then Jeong Jae-hyung joked, "Why did you cause trouble?" provoking laughter.
She continued, "By chance I went to different neighborhoods each time, and every time there was a huge commotion inside the school. At first friends would say, 'Wow, a celebrity,' and talk to me by my character's name, but later when we got closer those friends thought of me as just a regular friend, so I enjoyed attending school," she said.
Jeong Jae-hyung said, "I wondered what it was like in elementary school. When people called 'Yoojung.' After going through all that in elementary school, you probably took it in stride in middle and high school. But I wondered, when everyone said 'Yoojung' in elementary school, was that happiness, or was it 'too scary,' 'what's with that?'"
Then Kim Yoo-jung said, "I hated it then. Because I could feel that friends saw me differently. At 12, I once played the baby gumiho in The Tale of the Nine-Tailed Fox, and they kept teasing me about that. 'Eee, gumiho,' they would say. Boys tease like that when they're young, right? But they teased me as if being a gumiho was something to mock. It was exhausting... 'Show your teeth,' they'd say. There were times I suffered from that kind of fatigue," she honestly revealed.
