My Little Old Boy's Han Hye-jin revealed a family history she had kept hidden.
On the 16th, SBS variety show My Little Old Boy (hereinafter "My Little Old Boy") aired a segment in which a shaman's shocking divinations about Han Hye-jin and Bae Jung-nam were revealed.
That day the two met a household shaman. The daughter-in-law shaman looked at Han Hye-jin's fortune reading and said, "In the Han family, a general should originally have been born, but she was born female and was raised like a boy. Even if there are parents, she lost affection to her siblings and it's so pitiful and heartbreaking."
She continued, "It wasn't that she was driven from the start to become a model. She ended up on this path as she kept doing it, and now that she's in it she should succeed. Hearing the reading, Han Hye-jin burst into tears and her mother in the studio also shed tears. Han Hye-jin said she had lived intensely for 10 years but had not actually taken time for herself. Then Han Hye-jin revealed a family history she had hidden. She said, "My father was of late marriage age. He was the seventh of eight children and married later than my siblings. His first child was a daughter, so my mother had a really hard time," and explained that because of the thought that a son was needed, her mother gave birth to a younger brother in consecutive years.
Saying her younger brother has the exact opposite personality, Han Hye-jin said, "At home I was raised as the eldest daughter but always lived with the feeling of being the family's eldest son. When that memory comes back it suddenly makes me cry," and she reddened around her eyes.
Han Hye-jin's mother said, "Hye-jin suffered a lot. She took on all the duties of the family's eldest grandson role, and my husband married late at 42 and had Hye-jin. When I held the younger one, he wouldn't come to the front and would only touch her hair from behind while I handled things alone. She learned things on her own from a young age," expressing regret.
Especially, this year being a 'samjae' year for Han Hye-jin, it was said that next year an accident year will come, which surprised viewers. It appeared she would break something, get injured, and be in a cast. The shaman asked, "Did you rebuild the house? Is there any place on the garden side to tend to?" When Han Hye-jin said, "I was planning to plant a tree," the shaman firmly said, "Don't."
Saying that planting a tree would bring accident years, the shaman also advised, "During the samjae period leave the house as it is. The site is now stabilizing. Don't dig a well. Don't place stones, and never touch the gate," and recommended fixing the house when the samjae ends in 2027.
