Yunho expressed his thoughts on the resurgence of "Thank U".
On the 16th broadcast of KBS Cool FM's Park Myung-soo's Radio Show, the "Legendary Master" segment was held.
That day Park Myung-soo drew attention by hinting to listeners during the opening, "Today a very passionate man will appear, so get some energy."
He expressed admiration, saying, "Today, after taking a week off from '11 o'clock, my hometown', I prepared the 'Legendary Master' segment. I invited a master of passion. I will be with Yunho, who returned with the new song 'Stretch(스트레치)'. This guy is amazing. He is young, but his passion is hot both then and now."
Afterwards, Park Myung-soo told Yunho, whom he met after a long time, "Even after 22 years, you can hold your own against most idols. I heard you're actually a teacher to those idols," and Yunho explained, "In the case of RIIZE, I met them right before their debut and gave tips and received many requests. At that time, as a senior, the professionals watch over dance and vocal skills and tell them how to perform on stage in a way that doesn't lose their own color and makes it fun."
Park Myung-soo was surprised and said, "If you mix in with them, you don't even notice the difference. You managed yourself well," and Yunho showed respect, saying, "You're amazing too, aren't you still active? The last time I saw you was on X-Man. When 'Yayaya' hit then, I thought 'You still leave a catchphrase like this?' It was amazing."
Park Myung-soo mentioned "Thank U," which recently drew attention as a meme for things like 'first lesson,' and asked, "How did you feel when it reversed and climbed the charts?"
Yunho candidly said, "I'm so grateful, but this was an album I really ground my bones to make. The 19s music video even featured senior actor Hwang Jung-min, and to have it loved as a meme and to get a nickname like 'lesson master' was a bit bittersweet. It became famous in a different way. But I'm thankful, really. Because of this song I even got nicknames like 'lesson uncle' and 'lesson hyung' from elementary school students."
