The "Pinge-go Awards," said to be more tense and thrilling than year-end award ceremonies, return for their third edition to visit the members.
On the morning of the 16th, the YouTube channel "Tteunddeun" 공개ed the voting link for members for the "3rd Pinge-go Awards" through its official account.
At the upcoming 3rd Pinge-go Awards, six categories will be presented: newcomer award, popular star award, excellence award, work award, outstanding award, and grand prize. Among these, the grand prize, work award and popular star award will reflect 100% of the members' votes, and the person (work) with the most votes will receive the award. Candidates for the grand prize are based on videos uploaded from Jan. through Nov. of this year, and voting is open until the 25th (Tuesday).
From this awards ceremony, the candidate criteria for the grand prize and outstanding award have been separated. The outstanding award candidates are members who appeared on Pinge-go at least twice this year, and grand prize candidates are members who appeared at least three times. Tteunddeun asked, "As you recall the activities of the members who have been noisy on Pinge-go throughout the year, please cast a heartfelt vote."
The nominees for the prestigious grand prize are Nam Chang-hee, Yang Se-chan, Cho Sae-ho and Ji Seok-jin. Among the honorary members who appeared on Pinge-go at least three times this year, the grand prize will go to the one who had the best chemistry with the "gaeju" Yoo Jae-suk.
First, Nam Chang-hee appeared in "The third Lunar New Year holiday is Pinge-go," "Unfinished stories are Pinge-go," "Chuseok flap is Pinge-go," and participated in the solo content "Visiting Silbi House" and the special content "Kkangchon-cance."
Next, Yang Se-chan appeared in "Laughter guarantee is Pinge-go," "Sharing a rice bowl is Pinge-go," "Global expansion is Pinge-go," and paired with Yoo Jae-suk as the "top-star professional assistant MC," bringing laughter. In particular, he also delivered laughs as the youngest member in last year's hit "Punghyang-go," taking care of his older brothers.
The third nominee is Cho Sae-ho. He appeared a total of 10 times, including "The third fake life is Pinge-go," "Energy recovery is Pinge-go," and "Spring scent is Pinge-go," making him the candidate who appeared in the most episodes among the grand prize nominees. He also joined the special content "Kkangchon-cance" belatedly and showed distinctive chemistry.
The final nominee is Ji Seok-jin, who appeared more than nine times on "Pinge-go," including "Pocket style is Pinge-go," "Eating bread is Pinge-go," and "Industry talk is Pinge-go," brightening the show. Notably, he delivered big laughs as the eldest line with actor Hwang Jung-min in "Punghyang-go."
Among the four nominees, anticipation is growing over who will become the third grand prize winner following Lee Dong-wook and Hwang Jung-min.
In addition to the grand prize nominees, the "work award," given to the piece among all "Pinge-go" videos released this year that had the best back-and-forth chemistry, the "veteran popular star award," given to talk veterans with 20 or more years since debut in the entertainment industry, and the "rising popular star award," given to talk rising stars with less than 20 years since debut in the entertainment industry, will also be selected by the members' votes.
