According to a report by Hankook Ilbo on the 16th, Jay Park sustained a leg fracture and ligament tear.
Last month Jay Park suddenly drew attention by sharing an update showing him in a cast on his left leg and using crutches. He posted a selfie taken in that condition on his social media, conveying the resolve "Its gonna be ok (괜찮을 거야)".
Afterward, Jay Park appeared at various events with a cast and crutches and even performed on stage. He also actively promoted the group he produced, LNGSHOT (Longshot), despite his injury.
However, earlier this month he drew attention by leaving a cryptic post saying "Where can I even walk?" Because details about the original condition of Jay Park's leg injury and the exact cause were not officially disclosed, concerns arose.
Meanwhile, Jay Park recently revealed he had recovered his health by showing himself dancing without crutches. In addition, on the second day of the Spotify House Seoul event held on the 14th, he performed on stage without crutches.
Regarding this, Jay Park told Hankook Ilbo in an interview, "It's been about a month and a half since I was injured. I fractured it a bit while tumbling, and the ligament was torn about 80%," adding, "I'm now about 60 to 70% recovered. I'm not using crutches anymore and I'm working hard on rehabilitation," providing specific details about his condition.
Meanwhile, Jay Park founded MORE VISION in 2022 and has signed various artists. In September he hinted at introducing a boy group called LNGSHOT (Longshot) in January next year through a university festival and attracted attention by revealing their stage for the first time. He further raised expectations for their debut by performing a joint stage with Longshot at the Spotify House Seoul concert.
