Actor Kim Ok-bin joined the ranks of the married on Nov. 16 by holding a wedding. She met a precious partner and opened a new page in her life.
Kim Ok-bin will tie the knot on the 16th with a non-celebrity fiancé. The wedding was a private ceremony attended only by families from both sides and close acquaintances. The agency also said, "Out of consideration for the non-celebrity groom and his family, it is difficult to disclose detailed information about the wedding," and asked for understanding.
A day before the wedding, Kim Ok-bin personally thanked her fans. She said, "I'm getting married tomorrow," and added, "It seems only right to greet those who have supported me for 20 years." She went on to describe her fiancé as "a kind and thoughtful person who always makes me smile when he's by my side," and said, "I will cherish the time ahead," revealing her excitement.
The news of Kim Ok-bin's marriage is especially surprising because of her situation revealed on SBS' My Little Old Boy in March. She confessed, "I was sad because my two younger siblings recently married before me," and spoke of acting as a reliable "big sister" who handled tuition, pocket money, entrance ceremonies and graduations. One of Kim Ok-bin's younger siblings is actor Chae Seo-bin (real name Kim Go-un).
At the time, Kim Ok-bin had laughed, "My siblings said, 'If sister allows us to marry, we'll find a groom,' so they kept setting me up on blind dates," and said, "I should not rush and should slowly find a partner." But in just six months she confirmed her marriage, surprising fans.
