Singer Park Seojin expressed her upset feelings over malicious comments aimed at her younger sibling Park Hyojeong.
On the 15th episode of KBS2 Mr. House Husband, scenes showed Park Hyojeong opening a fan cafe and holding a fan meeting at Park Seojin's suggestion.
That day Park Hyojeong said, "Isn't oppa's fan club Datbyeol? Then how about Ddungbyeol to mean wrapping around and protecting beside it. The big star that protects oppa's star. Isn't it cute?" and opened her fan cafe called "Ddungbyeol." Later, she even practiced signing for the fan meeting with Park Seojin's help.
When Park Seojin asked her sister why she suggested the fan cafe and fan meeting, she cautiously began, "There have often been many negative comments toward family members and toward Park Hyojeong as well."
Park Hyojeong also honestly revealed, "Some people just insulted me without warning. They touched my body. They touched my side or my buttocks or pinched me. Because of that I was hurt and once shed a few tears," which drew sympathy.
Then Park Seojin said, "I felt pitiful and sorry. I thought if she met fans in person and experienced being loved like this, her self-esteem would rise and she would feel reassured and strengthened, so I suggested holding a fan meeting," and added, "I helped as an older brother."
Hearing this, Eun Jiwon rebuked, "You did that with such a warm heart, so why do you express yourself like that toward Hyojeong?" and Park Seojin said, "You have to raise her big." Eun Jiwon replied, "She's being raised big already," and explained, "I mean raise her to be mentally strong," which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, that day Park Seojin helped promote on the street ahead of his sister Park Hyojeong's fan meeting and even gave a congratulatory performance himself. Park Hyojeong was deeply moved by the 10 fans who came to the venue despite the day-of notice and spent a happy time with them. She said, "They saw me on TV, thought I was pretty and loved me, and actually met me in person. I was very happy. It was a happy experience and an unforgettable memory," expressing her happiness.
