A was the figure recently at the center of controversy over allegations about Lee Yi-kyung's private life. Claiming to be a German internet user, they released messages they said were exchanged personally with Lee Yi-kyung and posted screenshots implying sexual conversation, which provoked an uproar.
However, Lee Yi-kyung's side immediately said they were "preparing legal action over spreading false information and malicious rumors" and responded firmly that the claims were "groundless." Afterwards, A suddenly reversed their position, saying "the content was manipulated by AI," and deleted the related posts, but soon reopened the account and reignited the controversy by saying "I am wronged" and insisting "the AI explanation was false."
Eventually A even posted messages such as "I have never been sued" and "I'm considering revealing verification photos," reigniting the controversy, but this time they deleted their account while claiming to be a victim of threats.
Meanwhile, after the rumors spread, Lee Yi-kyung left the MBC variety show "Hangout With Yoo," and decided not to appear on KBS 2TV's "The Return of SUPERMAN," where he had been chosen as a new host. However, his agency drew a line, saying it was "not due to a private life controversy but a scheduling issue." In fact, Lee Yi-kyung is reportedly currently filming a movie abroad.
