I Live Alone cast member Im Woo-il revealed his horseback riding hobby and said he had experienced a fall from a horse.
On the 14th episode of the MBC entertainment program I Live Alone (hereafter I Live Alone), scenes of Im Woo-il riding a horse were shown.
That day, early in the morning, Im Woo-il ran down a country road and arrived somewhere, carrying a large bag and entered confidently. The place was a riding club.
Im Woo-il said, "I ride horses, which doesn't suit me. I've done it for a long time," and confessed, "Actually that was when I had no work. I was looking for some niche in that field," saying he had targeted a niche market during his unknown years.
Agreeing, Park Na-rae said, "That's why I learned DJing too. When I had no work I thought I should learn something," but asked, "Why didn't you try to exploit the niche?" Im Woo-il said, "I tried the niche, but comedians weren't needed. I did commentary, and when there was a fast-running horse I shouted, but they told me to be quiet. The horses get startled. You have to be very quiet. The commentary too," he revealed.
In the following footage, scenes of Im Woo-il actually doing commentary were revealed. In his calm commentary he drew attention by answering with only "yes."
Im Woo-il bonded with a horse named "Cookie" that accompanied him. He expressed affection, saying, "As I keep riding, a horse feels like a dog. You can bond with it to a dog-like level."
Seeing Im Woo-il warming up on a white horse, Park Na-rae exclaimed, "He looks like a chaebol family member." Other members added, "He looks like a prince on a white horse."
Especially, Im Woo-il nearly fell off while training on the course. When asked if he had ever fallen from a horse, he said, "I did fall. At that time I mistimed and fell to the side. I hurt my shoulder. It cracked so I wore something like a splint. Even then I kept going because I had the mindset that I had to perform here," he revealed, surprising everyone.
Then Kian84 asked, "Did you ever think of entering competitions?" Im Woo-il replied, "I did enter a competition. Rather than as an official athlete, it was an event race run the same as an official race. They said if it were an official record I would have placed third or fourth."
