The group Stray Kids unveiled the music video teaser for their comeback title track "Do It" for the first time.
Stray Kids will release their new album SKZ IT TAPE "DO IT" and the double title tracks "Do It" and "신선놀음" on the 21st at 2 p.m. (0 a.m. Eastern Time).
On the afternoon of the 14th, they posted the music video teaser for one of the double title tracks, "Do It," on their official SNS channels. Earlier, an instrumental that revealed part of the track was followed by the original vocal track—with lyrics written by 3RACHA members Bang Chan, Changbin and Han—being revealed for the first time, drawing attention.
In the video, a world that seems to have had its light stolen and frozen shows lightning striking and a thick fog settling, creating an eerie atmosphere. The eight members, dressed all in black like crows flying swiftly between buildings, appear and deliver intense performances that highlight the group's signature strengths. The chorus, "Do it do it do it do it (Oh na na na na na) Do it do it do it do it (Oh na na na na na) Just do whatever you wanna do I guarantee that it's the best for you Just do it do it do it do it (Oh na na na na na na)," repeats, and the energy unique to "Do It," which brings changes to the space such as light emerging and confetti flying, is conveyed beyond the screen.
The new title track "Do It" is a song that stands out for its relaxed, cool attitude over a reggaeton base and its catchy main riff. Following the comeback trailer and photos with a distinctive concept, the music video teaser exudes a weighty, mysterious aura, increasing anticipation for the full version of "Do It," in which the modern-day "sinseon" Stray Kids sing a positive message urging listeners not to hesitate but to trust their instincts and move forward.
The first work announcing the start of SKZ IT TAPE, an album in which Stray Kids want to unfold the hottest and most definite mood through music, "DO IT," is receiving endless support from listeners worldwide ahead of its official release. It ranked No. 1 for two consecutive weeks on Spotify's "Countdown Chart Global Top 10," which ranks tracks based on users' pre-save counts for a week. Having previously claimed No. 1 on that chart as the first K-pop album to do so, Stray Kids now holds the title of "two consecutive weeks," showcasing their unrelenting popularity and topicality.
