Singer Lim Chang-jung's wife Seo Ha-yan revealed her life as the mother of five sons.
On the 15th, Seo Ha-yan released a video on her personal YouTube channel titled 'Seo Ha-yan and get 'Laundry' with me (reality ver.) 365 days 24 hours running Ha-yan's laundromat | laundry tips, husband stories, washing/beautifying etc'.
In the video Seo Ha-yan said, "I run the washing machine 365 days a year. I run the washing machine three times a day. White laundry, black laundry, and once more before going to bed," which surprised viewers.
Seo Ha-yan married singer Lim Chang-jung in 2017, who is 18 years her senior. At the time, Lim Chang-jung had three sons from his previous marriage, and after remarrying Seo Ha-yan they had two sons, so Seo Ha-yan single-handedly manages the household of five brothers.
She joked, "It would be a big problem if our underwear got mixed up. Socks and underwear get upset if mixed. So we choose brands so no one feels bad," and complained about the difficulties of running a household for five brothers.
What makes Seo Ha-yan the most exhausted is Lim Chang-jung, who is like the 'eldest son' labeled 'No. 0.' Seo Ha-yan joked, "Above all, the eldest son (Lim Chang-jung) is the hardest. The eldest son requires the most attention. There are from No. 0 to No. 5, and No. 0 is Lim Chang-jung."
Nonetheless she added, "I think this life is the life I dreamed of. If I hadn't experienced this, I wouldn't have known a mother's heart, and I think I have to try parenting myself. In this life I sometimes yell at and get angry with the children a lot, but I think even that is a signal that we're living well. I think, 'I'm happy right now. We're living safely and well,' and I live with that thought."
