In a subsequent interview, Lee Jung-hyun said, "I am going on a stage as a legend on 'Immortal Songs.' It's my first time standing in front of an audience in 10 years. The last time was 'Infinite Challenge' in 2015."
She added, "I always miss the stage. Honestly, in some ways, I think I was most popular when I was a singer," and said, "I'm very nervous. I'm working with a composer now to arrange and create the music. I'm also paying a lot of attention to the costumes."
In the studio Boom asked, "Don't you have the costume you wore back then?" and Lee Jung-hyun explained, "There is no costume. Have all the stylists retired?" saying she made everything herself from purchasing the fabric to design. She even surprised everyone by adding that she alone made the choreography team's costumes as well.
Meanwhile, Lee Jung-hyun designed a top that barely covered the upper body and ultra-mini bottoms and showed them to her husband. Her surprised husband said, "I think this needs to be covered," and hurriedly hid the exposed parts with colored pencils, drawing laughter.
On the long-awaited recording day, transformed into a singer, Lee Jung-hyun revealed she gave up instant noodles and lost as much as 4kg for the 'Immortal Songs' stage, attracting attention. She revealed her diet secret, saying, "After having two kids, I couldn't lose the flab. But when I stopped eating instant noodles, the weight dropped quickly."
After rehearsals began, Lee Jung-hyun said, "I was nervous. My heart felt like it was pounding for the first time in a long while. I didn't know that feeling when I was acting. It felt really good to stand on a live stage," expressing her impressions.
Watching his wife's rehearsal quietly from the audience, her husband admired, "I was really living with someone amazing. I was shocked." In the studio Lee Jung-hyun joked, "I cook at home every day so he doesn't know."
Her husband, unable to take his eyes off Lee Jung-hyun's continuing imposing stage, was also surprised when she performed a close-contact dance with the male lead dancer.
Meanwhile, when Lee Jung-hyun took the main stage and met fans, she perfectly recreated those days.
