'Moon River' features Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong fighting a brawl to return to the palace.
Today (15th) airing on MBC, the Friday-Saturday drama 'Moon River' (written by Jo Seung-hee, directed by Lee Dong-hyun, abbreviated 'Moon River') episode 4 depicts the struggles of Crown Prince Igang (Kang Tae-oh) and Bak Dali (Kim Se-jeong), who set out to return to Hanyang.
Igang went to meet Kim Woo-hee (Hong Su-ju), the daughter of Left State Councilor who might become crown princess, and fell into a trap he had set, putting his life in danger. Kim Woo-hee secretly tried to kill Crown Prince Igang in order to live according to her own will, not her father's. As a result, Igang was shot and fell off a cliff, shocking everyone.
However, Bak Dali, who was descending a mountain path alone, happened upon the unconscious Igang, and after treatment and nursing, Igang regained consciousness. Meanwhile, rumors that Igang had died circulated in the palace, increasing confusion. Attention is focused on whether Igang can safely return to the palace, silence the rumors and reclaim his original position.
In the released photos, Igang and Bak Dali are suddenly surrounded by a band of mountain bandits, creating a suffocating tension. The two appear terrified by the threatening thugs, and Igang's still-pale complexion, not yet fully recovered, even raises concern among viewers.
Even cornered, Igang fights back with the splendid swordsmanship befitting a crown prince. Kim Se-jeong also displays unexpected ferocity with finely honed attack skills from her long life as a pack-carrier, leaving the bandits flustered.
