BOYNEXTDOOR (BOYNEXTDOOR) proved they are a global trend group by winning two awards at a major music awards show.
BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Liu, Myeong Jaehyeon, Taesan, I-han, Unhak) was selected as the winner of one of the biggest awards, "2025 grand performer," at the "2025 Korea Grand Music Awards" (2025 KGMA) held Nov. 14 at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon. They were also named one of the "Best Artists 10," recognizing their outstanding activities this year that raised the standing of K-pop.
BOYNEXTDOOR said, "We are truly grateful to ONEDOOR (ONEDOOR, the fandom name) who give us so much love. We think we can shine because of you," adding, "We will use this award as momentum to keep growing as artists and not become complacent. We will repay your love with our music."
At the ceremony, BOYNEXTDOOR captivated the audience with a variety of stages. Their free-spirited charm shone from the start. The members took the stage as their hit song "Only Today I LOVE YOU" rang out and engaged in a dance battle with dancers, drawing attention. Showing dynamic energy, they delivered a freestyle rap using lyrics from the mini album 4 "No Genre" title track "I Feel Good," raising the excitement. A performance that emphasized a "rockstar"-like charm added explosive power, and when the members skillfully led audience responses with booming voices, a sing-along erupted from the crowd.
The "Hollywood Action" stage showcased the six members' synchronized choreography. The members' stage presence stood out as they executed precise, unified movements. As the song infused a Hollywood star-like confidence, the members' bold charm matched it perfectly. Dozens of dancers joined the chorus performance, prompting cheers that shook the venue. Group choreography and stage manners that evoked a flashy action movie, combined with solid live vocals, brought the atmosphere at the site to a peak.
Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR achieved another leap with last month's release of mini album 5 "The Action." "The Action" entered the U.S. Billboard main album chart, the "Billboard 200" (Nov. 8), at No. 40, marking five consecutive albums charting from mini album 1 "WHY.." through mini album 5 "The Action." In addition, they appeared on the latest Billboard charts (Nov. 15) for two consecutive weeks on "Top Album Sales" (No. 19), "Top Current Album Sales" (No. 17), "World Albums" (No. 5), and "Emerging Artists" (No. 3). The title track "Hollywood Action" lit a green light for "long-running popularity," ranking in the top spots for three consecutive weeks on Melon's weekly chart (tracking period: Oct. 20–Nov. 9), a barometer of mainstream appeal.
