Comedian Kim Junho has declared a ban on drinking starting in December to prepare for a second child with his wife Kim Jimin. Recently, as updates showing the two have actually begun preparing for pregnancy were revealed one after another through various broadcasts and YouTube content, interest has grown.
The Channel S show "Ni Don Nae San Dokbak Tour 4" airing on the 15th includes a travelogue of the members heading to Qingdao, China, the "city of beer." Before the main filming, the members gathered at a traditional Korean restaurant in Sinsa-dong that Kim Daehee himself opened, and there Kim Junho surprised everyone by declaring, "I'll cut back on drinking and stop entirely starting in December."
The reason was Kim Jimin and their plan for a second child. Kim Junho showed a serious side, saying, "You have to get your body ready if we're going to prepare," but when Hong Ingyu egged him on, saying, "It's not December yet, so you can drink now," he quickly lifted his glass, saying, "Shall I?" Earlier, Kim Jimin also candidly revealed her plans for a second child on the YouTube content "Hwang Bora Borivity." In the "devoted-lover test," when husband Kim Junho called sooner than anyone else and sent a message saying "I love you," the hosts gushed with envy, asking, "Are you two still dating?" In the following conversation, Kim Jimin said without hesitation, "I'm planning to start preparing on Dec. 1," revealing plans for natural conception. Hwang Bora encouraged her, saying, "Life changes a lot after having a child," and Kim Jimin replied, "We're trying to take one step beyond our world of just the two of us."
In another video recently posted on Hwang Bora's channel, it was mentioned that Kim Jimin was diagnosed with an ovarian age of 27 from an ovarian test. Everyone cheered at the healthy result, and Jung Irang joked, "Rather than aging one or two years, have two quickly." But Kim Jimin honestly said, "I don't want to try IVF for now. Watching Hwang Bora do it looked too hard," and added, "I want to try natural conception first."

The couple Kim Junho and Kim Jimin began a public relationship in 2022 and married in July, establishing themselves as a representative couple in the comedy world. Kim Junho previously mentioned on TV CHOSUN "Joseon's devoted lover" that "I'll enjoy the newlywed period like a party until Nov. 30, and after that I'll quit drinking and smoking and start preparing."
