'The Seasons–10CM's Ssodam Ssodam' delivered a fiery stage from artists who devoted their passion to music.
On the 14th, KBS 2TV music talk show 'The Seasons-10CM's Ssodam Ssodam' featured LE SSERAFIM, Jaurim, Yunho, and Balming Tiger, who appeared and presented stages filled with their own colors.
First, LE SSERAFIM, who returned from a world tour with the new song 'SPAGHETTI (spaghetti)', opened the stage. Ten Cent, who gifted a custom-made cake for youngest member Hong Eun-chae's 20th birthday that day, emphasized that they are LE SSERAFIM's 'true fan.' Ten Cent praised LE SSERAFIM, saying, "I have never seen a team whose identity and all the music, performance and story that stem from it are this perfect," and expressed fandom by effortlessly reciting each member's charms on the spot, moving LE SSERAFIM.
LE SSERAFIM, which achieved remarkable results such as a first world tour that covered 18 cities over five months and entering Billboard's 'Hot 100' at No. 50 with 'SPAGHETTI', added meaning by concluding album activities with '10CM's Ssodam Ssodam.' LE SSERAFIM covered Ten Cent's 'Stalker' and showed sense with a group performance wearing glasses, and Ten Cent responded with an acoustic version of 'SPAGHETTI,' creating a warm atmosphere. LE SSERAFIM said, "a very happy ending," showing emotion.
As the fifth subject of 'Indie 30th anniversary project—life music,' the 29-year veteran band Jaurim appeared and breathed with the audience by singing their debut song 'Hey, Hey, Hey.' Jaurim's life music best three, among many hits, introduced 'Shining,' 'Hahaha Song,' and 'Twenty-five, Twenty-one,' and Kim Yuna revealed the behind-the-scenes story of 'Twenty-five, Twenty-one,' saying, "On the way back after dropping my child off at kindergarten, I saw falling cherry blossoms and the phrase came out naturally." Ten Cent, impressed by Jaurim's impromptu live performance, said, "Youth is hard to explain, so I'll leave it to this song."
Returning with their 12th full-length album, Jaurim raised expectations, saying, "Three friends are adventuring through music, and among them we undertook the biggest adventure this year." In particular, Kim Yuna spoke about being more active than ever, saying, "There was a time I was unwell and at a crossroads in my music life, but I thought I should do everything I can, awakened myself and am whipping myself into shape." Ten Cent expressed respect, saying, "They reflect the zeitgeist so well that the phrase 'veteran band' doesn't even come to mind."
Yunho finished an energetic lesson with a stage of 'Thank U,' which reversed course after four years, saying, "I made the song seriously, but it took a direction different from what I thought," while also expressing gratitude, saying, "These days elementary school students call me 'Lesson Uncle.'" Yunho, emperor of various memes, said about the 'Happy birthday Choi Chang-min' meme, "No matter where I go I receive messages asking me to be congratulated, so I might soon have to hold a retirement ceremony." Ten Cent said, "I don't think it's a mocking meme. It's rather transparent, which makes people more enthusiastic," and then held a retirement ceremony for the 'happy birthday' meme, drawing laughter.
Yunho, together with Ten Cent, performed TVXQ!'s representative songs 'Hug' and 'MIROTIC' in a duet, ranging from sweetness to intensity, and thrilled the audience with passionate gestures and performances. Yunho, who returned with his first full-length album containing another lesson, 'I-KNOW,' introduced the new album, saying, "I thought that now I could share more stories responsibly, so I'm greeting you," and presented the title track 'Body Language.'
Balming Tiger, pioneering a new genre, described themselves as "a creative collective and family doing alternative K-pop" and introduced a total of 11 members, including those who could not attend. Balming Tiger, which has been recognized as a global artist after being invited to large overseas music festivals, said, "We started from local festivals in various countries such as the Magupan Festival." They candidly said the reason they could succeed overseas was, "We had an 'unfounded confidence' that our music, video and vibe would definitely work. That helped us."
BJ Won-jin reinterpreted 'When Love Passes' in his own colors, and Sogeum completed a unique yet charming stage by singing 'Cocktail Love' with Ten Cent. Balming Tiger closed with a warm and delightful performance for their new song 'wo ai ni (wo ai ni),' saying, "It seemed like a time when love was needed, so we wanted to make a song that keeps shouting 'I love you.' The background of 'geunjagam' was also about relationships. The strength that allowed us to endure was our bonds with these people, which helped in making this song."
