'Moon River' in which Kang Tae-oh meets the rumored "Eosejwa" Hong Su-ju.
Today (14th) MBC's Friday-Saturday drama "Moon River" (written by Jo Seung-hee, directed by Lee Dong-hyun, abbreviated "Moon River") episode 3 will feature a tense face-off between Crown Prince Igang (Kang Tae-oh) and the left state councillor's daughter Kim Woo-hee (Hong Su-ju).
After sending off the crown princess, Igang has remained alone guarding the palace. As the ministers continued to pressure for a royal marriage, a marriage ban was issued, but in reality everyone tacitly knows that Left State Councillor Kim Han-cheol (Jin Goo) intends to make his daughter the crown princess. In response, Igang playfully replied with the phrase "Eosejwa" (the crown princess will be the left state councillor's daughter anyway), drawing laughter.
Still, Igang continues to miss the crown princess, and Kim Woo-hee, the left state councillor's daughter, does not have feelings for Igang. Above all, Kim Woo-hee's beloved is Jeowon Daegun Iwoon (Lee Shin-young), so she keeps delaying the royal marriage with Igang. On top of that, Kim Han-cheol's order to become the crown prince's father-in-law casts a shadow over their future.
Among the released photos is a moment showing Igang and Kim Woo-hee meeting on a dark night, drawing attention. Under the soft moonlight, the two facing each other might suggest a romantic atmosphere, but Igang and Kim Woo-hee wear subtle expressions that are hard to read. Between them only cold and fierce dialogue, without any retreat, is expected to be exchanged.
In addition, Park Dal-i (Kim Se-jeong), who came to the scene as a messenger, accidentally witnesses the two meeting. Especially when seen up close it is tragic, but from afar it looks like a scene from a romance; Park Dal-i cannot hide her embarrassment at Igang and Kim Woo-hee's sudden actions, which heightens curiosity. What exactly happened to them that night is becoming a question. Broadcast tonight at 9:40 p.m.
