TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun is creating a sensation in Korea and Japan with his first solo album.
On Nov. 14, the album sales tracking site Hanteo Chart reported that Yeonjun's mini album NO LABELS: PART 01 sold a total of 601,105 copies in the week after its Nov. 7 release. The achievement, as his first solo album launched 6 years and 8 months after debut, is drawing attention. The new release had already sold about 540,000 copies on its first day, and with just three days of sales it topped last week's weekly album chart (counting period: Nov. 3–9), signaling a hit.
The album also recorded strong performance on Circle's latest weekly chart (counting period: Nov. 2–8). It swept both the album and retail album charts, earning a double crown. The title track Talk to You entered multiple charts, including downloads (No. 3), V coloring (No. 13) and BGM (No. 19).
The momentum has continued in Japan. NO LABELS: PART 01 hit No. 1 on Oricon's daily album ranking dated Nov. 10 and placed No. 3 on the weekly digital album ranking dated Nov. 17 (counting period: Nov. 3–9). On Nov. 12, Billboard Japan ranked it No. 3 on the download albums chart.
Yeonjun is imprinting "Yeonjun core" on listeners around the world with music and performances that reflect his color. In particular, his comeback stages on domestic music shows have drawn daily praise for his confident attitude and stage manners, stable vocal ability and highly polished performances.
NO LABELS: PART 01 is an album that presents Yeonjun himself without modifiers or labels. Yeonjun participated in writing five songs, excluding the English track Forever, and was credited as a composer on the title track Talk to You and Nothin' 'Bout Me. He also took charge of performance planning and creation, solidifying his identity as a solo artist.
