Group NewJeans members Haerin and Hye-in have officially confirmed their return to ADOR, while Min-ji·Hanni·Danielle have expressed their intention to return and are scheduled for individual meetings.
On the 13th ADOR officials told OSEN, "We are coordinating schedules for individual meetings with the three members and will do our best to ensure smooth discussions."
Earlier, at 5:06 p.m. on the 12th, ADOR announced in an official statement, "Members Haerin and Hye-in will return and continue activities." It was about one year after the declaration of contract termination, and the return came about 10 days after a recent court ruling sided with ADOR.
However, about two hours later, Min-ji·Hanni·Danielle also separately announced through their legal representatives that "they will return to ADOR." But because their intention to return was conveyed as a 'one-sided notification' without prior coordination with ADOR, the agency said it was "verifying the intent" and took a cautious stance.
Meanwhile, Haerin and Hye-in were reported to have been continuously discussing and coordinating opinions with ADOR from about a week before the return announcement. As a result, the two members' return led to a natural agreement, but attention is drawn to the fact that the communication process with ADOR was omitted for the other three members.
ADOR has decided to sort out the situation through individual meetings with the three members. Through this, concrete discussions about Min-ji·Hanni·Danielle's return are also expected to take place.
Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin said that day, "The members' decision to return together must have been a choice reached after deep consideration and conversation," and added, "I respect and support that choice." She continued, "I cherish the courage of the members who joined hands again to protect each other. I think NewJeans must be kept intact as five members."
Currently Haerin and Hye-in have formalized their return to ADOR, and Min-ji·Hanni·Danielle are expected to finalize the direction for resuming activities after the meetings.
