Review: This is a review article written after watching the broadcast.
In "Save Me, Homes," announcer Kim Dae-ho candidly recalled memories from his repeat-student days and his experience living in a goshiwon, drawing both laughter and sympathy.
On the broadcast on the 13th, MBC's "Save Me, Homes" featured Kim Dae-ho · Yang Se-chan · Young-hoon exploring the Noryangjin area with a "three examinees" concept. Kim Dae-ho, appearing as a repeat student dreaming of becoming an announcer, said, "I actually repeated at this academy," and walked again along the Noryangjin streets he used to walk, lost in memories.
Kim Dae-ho's repeat-student concept unexpectedly suited him very well. The cast laughed, saying, "He really looks like a repeat student now," and "I thought a celebrity was interviewing citizens," and indeed a few minutes later an eyewitness account saying, "I saw a celebrity in Noryangjin," appeared on social media. The tag read '#actualcelebrity1 #Noryangjin1 #Noryangjincitizen1,' which provoked laughter.
Yang Se-chan added, "When Dae-ho hyung lets his bangs down, nobody recognizes him. They didn't recognize him so much that later he lifted his bangs."
The reason Kim Dae-ho lived in a goshiwon was also revealed. He said, "While the house was being built, I stayed in a goshiwon for about five to six months because it would have been a waste to break the lease," he said. Actual photos from that time were also shown, and Park Na-rae burst out laughing, saying, "Seeing it like this smells like old dog food." Kim Dae-ho laughed and replied, "Still, I was already an announcer then."
But behind the laughter was a bitter experience. He lamented, "One day a woman opened the door and came in and told me to 'close it gently.' At that moment I felt a reality check." Shocked, Kim Dae-ho reportedly recorded a video of himself sitting alone on the floor drinking, which made the cast wonder, "Why did you record the video?" Yang Se-hyung guessed, "It seems he recorded it to explain 'this kind of situation' to his girlfriend at the time," and Kim Dae-ho joked to lighten the mood, "It's absurd, it's a confession."
From the repeat-student concept to working part-time as a goshiwon manager and living in a goshiwon, Kim Dae-ho candidly revealed his "true life story" on the broadcast, giving many viewers empathy and laughter.<
