"The Seasons" saw Jaurim return with their 12th album "Life." Kim Yuna said, "This could have been the last time; I poured everything out," sharing her feelings at the time.
On the 14th episode of KBS2 music talk show "The Seasons-10CM's Ssudam Ssudam," Yunho Yunho, Jaurim, Balming Tiger, and LE SSERAFIM and other artists who devote their passion to music all gathered and put on a variety of stages.
In the day's "Indie 30th anniversary project—life music" segment, the 29-year-old band Jaurim appeared, opening with their legendary debut song "Hey, Hey, Hey" to deliver a heavy opening and seize the studio atmosphere at once.
Recently, Jaurim announced the release of their 12th studio album "Life" and has once again been active. However, on that day Kim Yuna candidly revealed the unusual awakening and desperation contained in this album.
She opened her mouth cautiously and said, "My health was so bad I once stood at a crossroads wondering whether I could continue with music." Kim Yuna continued, "I thought for the first time that life could suddenly be extinguished," saying she approached this album with the resolve that it was almost "the last." "If it really were the last, I thought I should do everything I could and then die." "I felt I couldn't live like this. I constantly whipped myself, saying to myself, 'You can do better, reach your maximum,'" she confessed her inner thoughts.
She went on to describe Jaurim's 12th album as "an album that puts in all the musical experience, emotion, and density accumulated over time." Kim Yuna said, "I worked with the idea of creating a dense sound," emphasizing that it is an album that maximizes Jaurim's distinctive worldview and depth.
Earlier, Kim Yuna revealed on SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' in September last year, "I have congenital immunodeficiency, so I receive intravenous injections of antibodies collected from healthy adults every month. I once couldn't sleep and suffered from heavy work for a while, and I developed a cranial nerve palsy. In fact, I still have aftereffects now," she confessed.
That day Kim Yuna also mentioned her regained ordinary life, saying, "I can freely talk about my cat stories, Pikmin and Wangnun. I can also talk as much as I want about Andre, who is nagging me for tomatoes now. These days I'm into fried eggs baked with cheese, and I ate some today as well. I eat an apple every day all year round. The cherry tomatoes I ordered this time are very tasty. The bread that beloved H baked as a birthday gift is almost gone.
