'Problem Child in House' singer Lee Seung-chul flashed a bright smile while boasting about his son-in-law.
On the 13th broadcast of KBS2TV variety show 'Problem Child in House', singer Lee Seung-chul appeared. He asked recently married Kim Jong-kook, "You got married?" in a nonchalant way and then said, "Why hide it so tightly? That makes me more curious," making Kim Jong-kook break into a cold sweat. Yang Se-chan added, "It's a trend at broadcast stations these days. Telling Kim Jong-kook that he's married," to elaborate.
Lee Seung-chul explained to Kim Jong-kook the duties to uphold as a husband. Lee Seung-chul said, "I don't have a slush fund. I borrowed pocket money," asking Kim Jong-kook, "Have you lived like that?" and then praised Kim Jong-kook, saying, "But at our age we hide it and forget it. Kim Jong-kook doesn't drink, so he'll be fine. Usually people do that when they drink."
Lee Seung-chul was also devoted to his wife. He still calls his wife 'ma-nim' and laughed heartily, saying, "Living like a servant is comfortable." Lee Seung-chul recalled his devoted times, saying, "I've always liked cooking, so I have no hesitation about going into the kitchen. And when my wife was pregnant, it was a time that would remain in my memory forever. You can't make mistakes then. The wedding, which became a hot topic as Kim Seong-ju hosted and Jannabi and Lee Mujin sang celebratory songs. Lee Seung-chul said, "My wife is a huge fan of Jannabi. When she gets in the car she only listens to Jannabi songs, so she knows them all. So I personally called Jannabi and Lee Mujin to arrange the celebratory songs," adding, "Kim Seong-ju was even available on our wedding anniversary. Six months before the wedding I asked Kim Seong-ju to host and asked, 'What are you doing that day?' Kim Seong-ju said it was a wedding anniversary, so I said, 'Perfect. Come and host.' I had no second thoughts."
However, Lee Seung-chul repeatedly emphasized that he was very pleased with his son-in-law. Frugal and thorough about his work, his son-in-law reportedly handled EGS management duties at a law firm, showing he is meticulous and exacting in real life. Moreover, Lee Seung-chul said, "And my son-in-law is 188cm tall. He's as tall as Joo Woo-jae. My daughter also has long limbs. So I look forward to their children," saying he also liked his son-in-law's appearance.
Lee Seung-chul said about his second daughter, "My second daughter is like my pride; if you ask her to do something she ranks third to fifth in the nation. She's also good at math.
