Actress Hong Bira is asserting her presence with a steady performance.
Recently released TVING original series "Dear X" (directed by Lee Eung-bok · Park So-hyun, written by Choi Ja-won · Ban Ji-un) is the story of Baek A-jin (Kim Yoo-jung), a woman who wears a mask to climb from hell to the highest place, and the Xs who were cruelly trampled by her.
Among them, Hong Bira plays Moon Do-hee, head of Longstar Entertainment, Baek A-jin's agency. As the right hand of CEO Seo Mi-ri (played by Kim Ji-young), she is the owner of a calm sense of balance who quickly gathers and organizes information even in various unexpected situations.
In the content released up to episode 6, she asserts her presence by calmly managing the company's crisis as the conflict between Rena (played by Lee Yul-eum) and Baek A-jin intensifies. Even amid unexpected controversies and tension, she handles the scene on behalf of CEO Seo Mi-ri and coordinates the situation with practical judgment rather than emotion.
In particular, even amid the commotion as issues surrounding Heo In-gang (played by Hwang In-yeop) and Baek A-jin spread, she maintains the drama's tension with an unwavering, firm tone and shows the character's professional side.
Showing clear diction and a stable line delivery, Hong Bira is an actress who has displayed her own charm in various works. In the Disney+ original series "Nine Puzzles" (written by Lee Eun-mi · directed by Yoon Jong-bin), released in the first half of this year, she played Detective Byeon Ji-yoon, who is on the same forensic team as Yoon Ina (played by Kim Da-mi), showing restrained emotions and calm charisma. As she has convincingly completed characters through tone control, facial expressions and eye details appropriate to each character's position and situation, she is expanding her own spectrum in "Dear X" as well.
Alongside Hong Bira, actors Kim Yoo-jung, Kim Young-dae and Kim Do-hoon appear in "Dear X," which releases two episodes sequentially every Thursday at 6 p.m. on TVING.<
