Singer Im Chang-jung will open a special year on the global stage by holding concerts in Los Angeles, U.S., and Sydney, Australia, with the start of 2026.
On the 14th, his agency JG Star said Im Chang-jung will hold a 30th anniversary concert at Pechanga Resort in Los Angeles on Jan. 24, 2026, and at the Sydney Opera House on Jan. 31.
This overseas tour will follow Im Chang-jung's ongoing nationwide tour concert "Chonseureoun Concert," and it is especially meaningful because he will open 2026 on the global stage. Im Chang-jung signed an exclusive contract with JG Star this year and on the 6th released a remake of Cult's classic "When I Hold You," successfully charting on major music sites.
In addition, he will appear as a memory singer on the MBN variety program "Unforgettable Duet," which features duet stages created by a contestant losing memories to dementia and the people who remember him, and will greet viewers through broadcasts for the first time in a while.
Having recently completed a successful performance in Vietnam, Im Chang-jung will hold the Seoul performances of "Chonseureoun Concert" at the KBS Arena in Seoul for two days from Dec. 27 to 28. With this, Im Chang-jung, who will conclude his 2025 nationwide tour, is determined to hold concerts overseas at the start of 2026 and move between domestic and international stages to be closer to fans.
Meanwhile, Im Chang-jung, who debuted as an actor in 1990, successfully debuted as a singer with the release of his first full-length album in 1995, entered terrestrial variety shows, and earned the unique title of "all-around entertainer."
He then enjoyed his prime as a singer, winning the grand prize at the KBS Song Festival with his third full-length album 'Again.' Returning as a singer in the 2010s, Im Chang-jung released hit songs in succession such as "Naran Nomiran," "Again Love," and "The Love I Committed," and has been loved as a "national singer."
