Starship Entertainment (hereinafter "Starship") artists unleashed unprecedented variety show talent at "Business Trip Fifteen Night X Starship National Sports Festival," bringing big laughs to viewers.
On the 12th, the tvN variety program "Business Trip Fifteen Night" aired the second chapter of the national sports festival featuring a full lineup of Starship artists. Actors Song Seung-heon, Lee Dong-wook, Yoo Yeon-seok, Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Beom, Son Woo-hyun, Chae Soo-bin, Shin Seung-ho, Kim Kyeong-nam, Ahn Ji-hwan, as well as singers K.Will, MONSTA X, WJSN (WJSN), CRAVITY (CRAVITY), IVE (IVE), KiiiKiii (KiiiKiii), IDID (IDID) and a total of 38 Starship artists competed in various game matches with producer Na Young-seok.
In the first late-night snack game, "charades with your body," IVE faced actor Team 1. Before the game started, Ahn Yoo-jin targeted the actor team with strong taunts, showing a "clear-eyed light" moment, and Lee Kwang-soo responded with his trademark confidence. In the main game, Jang Won-young's quick judgment and teamwork shone, securing victory for IVE. Although actor Team 1 lost, Lee Kwang-soo's laughter-inducing mukbang acting and over-immersed variety sense turned the set into a sea of laughter.
WJSN and CRAVITY challenged each other for the late-night snack in a "team strawberry game." The two teams played by combining snack names and animal names, and the match was so fierce that pronunciation mistakes and requests for video review followed. Producer Na Young-seok admired the teams' passion, saying, "I have never seen such an original strawberry game."
Afterward, KiiiKiii and actor Team 2 faced off in the "survival character quiz." KiiiKiii's Jiyu mistakenly called actor Hwang Jung-min "Hwang Jung-nam," clasped her hands, and repeatedly apologized, "Hwang Jung-min. Min, Min sunbaenim!" Actor Team 2 covered their mouths in astonishment when they saw this. Still, Lee Dong-wook excused her, saying, "I knew but I was momentarily confused (that's why)," and Yoo Yeon-seok added, "'Kyeong-nam' made it a bit confusing," to liven the mood. Hearing this, Jiyu looked at Kim Kyeong-nam and answered, "Yes! Yes!" which elicited laughter, and in a warm atmosphere Lee Dong-wook produced a surprising performance that gave actor Team 2 the win.
In the final "Hunminjeongeum relay pingpong" match, MONSTA X clashed with the K.Will & IDID team. MONSTA X, the "military-service-completed idols," who confidently said, "You can't leave out the military when it comes to pingpong," struggled under the rule banning English. Jooheon repeatedly used English, disadvantaging his team, and even replaced English with an AI style of speech, displaying wholehearted variety skills. However, continued mistakes led to internal division in the team, producing uproarious laughter. After a long, hard-fought match, MONSTA X ultimately won and concluded the game.
Meanwhile, the final episode of tvN's "Business Trip Fifteen Night" Starship national sports festival will air on Wednesday the 19th at 10:50 p.m., and the full version video will be released at 9 a.m. the day after the broadcast on the YouTube channel "Channel Fifteen Night."
