Starship's massive project "Debut's Plan" gave birth to new boy group IDID, who explode with the charm of a "high-end rough doll" fully enjoying freedom amid chaos.
Starship on the night of the 12th released the first music video teaser for the digital single "PUSH BACK" on IDID's official channel (IDID·Jang Yonghun, Kim Minjae, Park Wonbin, Chu Yuchan, Park Sunghyun, Baek Junhyuk, Jeong Semin). The color and mood are intriguingly different yet reminiscent of their first mini album "I did it."
This teaser features IDID members lost in free dance against a backdrop of a striped banner cloth with stars as the focal point. From members wearing caps and fur hats to those layering long-sleeve tops over short-sleeve T-shirts to create their own style, the outfits convey youthful, energetic vibes.
IDID members surrender their bodies to a dynamic, addictive rhythm and perform intensely free choreography. Contrary to the rough and rebellious mood, IDID energetically shouts "Don't push back" and seems to sprint at full speed; their sharp group choreography swells the viewer's chest and serves as a declaration of IDID's evolution into a "high-end rough doll," sparking curiosity about the single's world view.
Earlier, IDID previewed a variety of promotions announcing a unique transformation, from a teaser emphasizing ice in a fishbowl, instruments, and fish, to a showcase poster and timetable with an unusual mood, to a logo video "IDID IN CHAOS" using an object of crushed purified ice, and to content titled "idid.zip" that caused fans' download capacities to be exceeded.
IDID is an all-rounder idol group recognized for their skills through Starship's massive project "Debut's Plan." After a pre-debut in July and an official debut on Sept. 15, they showed strong activity, including winning first place on music shows. Their debut album "I did it." sold 441,524 copies in its first week.
Meanwhile, IDID's first digital single "PUSH BACK" will be released on Nov. 20 (Thu) at 6 p.m. on various music sites. IDID's comeback showcase as a "high-end rough doll" will be held the same day at 7:30 p.m. at the COEX outdoor plaza in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and will also be streamed live on the official YouTube channel.
