'Comedian Cho Sae-ho, who was criticized after attending a breast cancer awareness campaign event recently hosted by W Korea, directly apologized to senior comedian Park Mi-sun, who is battling breast cancer and appeared on the same program.

Park Mi-sun, upon appearing, warmly greeted Yoo Jae-seok and Cho Sae-ho and showed a bright demeanor, but Cho Sae-ho soon opened his mouth with a cautious expression.
Cho Sae-ho bowed his head and said, "I'm sorry to see you after so long. I want to sincerely apologize regarding my recent attendance at the event." He added, "Since then I have been careful about facing you, senior. I will use this incident to become more aware."
The event he referred to was 'W Korea breast cancer awareness campaign: Love Your W,' held last month. Although it was an event to improve breast cancer awareness, scenes from the after-party showing celebrities drinking alcohol and sexually suggestive music playing were released, prompting criticism that it was inappropriate for the purpose. Moreover, controversy grew when it became known that the magazine sent invitations to some celebrities that even used the expression "breast cancer party." In particular, because Park Mi-sun's battle with breast cancer had been revealed shortly before, Cho Sae-ho, who attended, could not avoid public criticism.
At Cho Sae-ho's apology, Park Mi-sun replied in her characteristically cheerful manner, "You must have been stressed. You've lost some weight," and the studio filled with a warmer atmosphere. Later Park Mi-sun even addressed the absurd rumors that had been spread about her, saying, "One YouTube channel even held a funeral," which drew laughter.
