The group ZEROBASEONE (ZEROBASEONE) proved its strong record power locally once again by receiving back-to-back platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) in 2025 for the Japanese EP 1 'PREZENT' and the special EP 'ICONIK'.
The 'PREZENT', released earlier this year, set a new record for first-week sales and ranked number one on both the Oricon weekly album ranking and the weekly combined album ranking. Notably, it received platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan just two weeks after its release, and it ranked fourth on Billboard Japan's 2025 midyear settlement of account 'top album sales', officially cementing ZEROBASEONE's local presence.
That upward trend continued with the special EP 'ICONIK'. Released in October, 'ICONIK' debuted at number two on the Oricon weekly album and weekly combined album rankings, number one on the Tower Records all-store overall album chart, and number two on Billboard Japan's top album sales, achieving overwhelming results on major charts immediately after release and successfully establishing its position. At the same time, it maintained steady sales momentum—landing in the top 10 of the Oricon daily album ranking for seven consecutive days—and ultimately achieved platinum certification, setting a record of consecutive platinum works.
They also made a clear impact in the digital music sector. The track 'Doctor! Doctor!' from the mini album 5 'BLUE PARADISE', pre-released in January, surprised fans by making a sudden comeback, ranking number one on the Oricon weekly streaming rapid-rise ranking even nine months after release.
Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE is expanding its global influence through the 2025 world tour '2025 ZEROBASEONE WORLD TOUR 'HERE&NOW''. After opening in Seoul in October, the tour visited Bangkok, Saitama and Kuala Lumpur, and is scheduled to perform in Singapore, Taipei and Hong Kong.
