About a year after all former NewJeans members declared they were terminating their exclusive contracts and now expressed willingness to return to ADOR, former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin said she supports the decision to return.
In an official position released on the 13th, former CEO Min said, "The decision the members made yesterday to return together would have been a choice reached after deep deliberation and discussion," adding, "I respect and support that choice."
She continued, "There were difficulties, but I value the courage of the members who joined hands again to protect one another," and said, "I can start anew anywhere. However, in any situation, I believe NewJeans must be fully preserved as five members."
She added, "I hope the members become stronger going forward and become a better NewJeans, and above all, I hope all five members are happy."
Min said, "Above all, I am grateful to the fans who protected NewJeans even in difficult times. Please give a warm welcome to the members as they overcome hardship and return," adding, "I, too, will keep watching NewJeans' music and growth and will support them to the end."
She explained, "As multiple lawsuits proceeded at the same time, a difficult period dragged on for all of us," and said, "The lawsuits between me and HYBE are entirely separate matters unrelated to NewJeans." She added, "I am doing my best as an individual and hope the truth will be clarified," and said, "I ask for your strong support."
Earlier the previous day, ADOR announced, "After consultation, members Haerin and Hye-in have decided to return." After that, Min-ji, Hanni, and Danielle were also reported to have conveyed their intention to return. ADOR was said to be confirming their true intentions.
