The British music magazine Rolling Stone (Rolling Stone UK) recently published an article on its official website highlighting Yeonjun of TOMORROW X TOGETHER's first solo album 'NO LABELS: PART 01' and drew attention to his musical challenges and growth.
Rolling Stone said, "With last year's released first solo mixtape 'GGUM' (Ggum), Yeonjun expanded his own boundaries. This album contains a rougher and more intense sound." It added, "As the album progresses into the latter half, his confidence shines more. It is experimental yet highly accomplished." About the title track 'Talk to You', it analyzed, "Yeonjun's distinctive vocal tone meshes with the song's energy to amplify its appeal."
In an interview, Yeonjun said, "With this album I wanted to show who I am. At the same time, it was a time for me to get to know myself. There were difficult moments, but it was all the more meaningful and enjoyable." He participated directly in the creative process from songwriting to performance planning, completing a 'Yeonjun core' that contains his own color.
Rolling Stone reviewed the new album's tracks and paid particular attention to 'Let Me Tell You (feat. Daniela of KATSEYE)', which features Daniela of KATSEYE. "A song that evokes Justin Timberlake's solo debut era," it said. Regarding the chemistry between Yeonjun and Daniela, it evaluated, "Two outstanding performers met and raised expectations. Their captivating tones blended perfectly, and Daniela's Spanish lyrics are also attractive."
Daniela praised in an interview, "From the start my chemistry with Yeonjun was natural. He was truly passionate and professional.
