Singer and musical actress Ivy directly explained the absurd 'cohabitation rumor' with actor Song Seung-heon, drawing laughter.
On the 12th broadcast of MBC entertainment show Radio Star, the leads of the musical Redbook—Ivy, Ji Hyun-woo, Kim Jun-hyun, and Kim Gyu-won—appeared as guests. That day MC Yoo Se-yoon asked, "Is it true that Ivy and Song Seung-heon were cohabiting?"
Ivy, looking embarrassed, laughed and replied, "My dog at home is named 'Song Seung-heon.'" She continued, "He was a puppy at a shelter I supported for a long time, and he looks really unique. His name is 'Park Song Seung-heon,'" and she explained, "If you see his face you'll understand why we call him that."
However, Ivy said it was an awkward situation, noting, "The story had already become an article so even Song Seung-heon found out." She confessed, "I posted the district office pet registration on SNS, and immediately an article appeared titled 'Ivy is cohabiting with Song Seung-heon.'"
Ivy went on, "After that I went to a golf course and saw Song Seung-heon in person, and I was so embarrassed I couldn't say anything," and she said, "Later I heard that an acquaintance of Song Seung-heon jokingly told someone to 'go to Ivy and bark,'" which provoked uproarious laughter.
Kim Gu-ra retorted, "So did Song Seung-heon come and bark himself?" making the scene erupt in laughter.
Meanwhile, Ivy is currently active in the musical Redbook and continues to flourish on variety shows with her frank and cheerful wit.
