'Infinite Challenge' memories come alive again.
On the 13th, MBC said comedians Park Myung-soo and Jung Joon-ha are returning with the digital variety show 'Hasucheorijang.'
The series, which has been released through MBC's YouTube channel 'Obun Sunsak,' will announce a new beginning on Saturday the 15th at 6:25 p.m. on its exclusive channel 'Hawasu.' This began as a popular segment within 'Obun Sunsak' and, receiving viewers' favorable responses, expanded into an independent channel.
'Hasucheorijang' is an office variety show that inherits the world of 'Muhan Sangsa,' a popular segment of 'Infinite Challenge,' and carries the concept of cheerfully 'processing' all of life's trivial worries (下愁).
Park Myung-soo and Jung Joon-ha split into a 'boss duo' and welcome a variety of guest 'new employees.' They address realistic concerns of Millennials and Gen Z such as dating, generational gaps and office life with 'Infinite Challenge–style solutions,' showcasing their characteristic rapid-fire chemistry.
The producers said "'Hasucheorijang' is not simply 'Muhan-dojeon retro' but an experimental project in which MBC entertainment IP evolves for the digital era," adding, "It starts with 'Muhan Sangsa,' but given the richness of characters and specials in the 'Infinite Challenge' IP, it can expand into various forms of content. We think we can continuously present interesting content to Infinite Challenge fans."
According to MBC's global IP production team, the newly opened YouTube channel 'Hawasu' has already garnered more than 10,000 subscribers ahead of the first episode release, stirring nostalgia among the 'Mudo kids' generation.
'Hasucheorijang' will be released to match the Saturday evening time slot when 'Infinite Challenge' used to air, aiming to evoke viewers' memories and nostalgia. It will be released on the YouTube channel 'Hawasu' at 6:25 p.m. on the 15th, and the first guests will be YouTuber Charles Enter and Junppangjogyo.
