Artemis (ARTMS) member Heejin's "rock spirit" explodes.
According to Modhaus, Heejin will release a new solo single, "sAvioR," on global music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 13th and meet OURII (the fandom name).
"sAvioR" is Heejin's first original rock number, released by an artist who is a long-time fan of rock music and has devoted effort to guitar playing. Facing herself after a fall, Heejin captured the process of looking again at the lost light in a grunge sound.
The song's concept is linked to ARTMS's "Virtual Angel." Heejin sings more clearly and transparently about a love that starts as a fever and escalates into obsession.
She collaborated here with Jin Dong-wook, the frontperson of the band Decadent, creating a rough yet delicate rock sound. On top of that, Heejin tunes the center of emotion with taut tension.
Artemis has released solo singles in succession, starting with Hasl's "Love Poison," followed by Kim Lip's (ODD EYE CIRCLE) "Can You Entertain?", JinSoul's "Ring of Chaos," Choi Ri's "Pressure," and now Heejin's "sAvioR."
In particular, each Artemis member's solo single has made their individual personalities clearer while deeply imprinting Artemis's own narrative. Accordingly, expectations for the new music Artemis will show going forward are heating up even more.
Artemis is currently on a global trek with a new world tour, "Grand Club Icarus." They will meet North American fans in November, perform in South America in December, visit Europe next January, and culminate the tour in Seoul on Feb. 7 and 8.
