"believe-listen-do" Monsta X (MONSTA X: Shownu·Minhyuk·Kihyun·Hyungwon·Jooheon·IM)'s new song release is one day away.
According to agency Starship Entertainment, Monsta X will release the U.S. digital single 'baby blue' through global music platforms at 12 a.m. on the 14th in each country.
The new song 'baby blue' is a track that captures the gradual fading of a familiar love in sensuous electronic pop. It beautifully depicts post-breakup recollections and lingering emotions, with a lyrical melody and sophisticated synth sounds blending to leave an aftertaste where warmth and loneliness coexist.
This single is the group's first official U.S. single in about four years since their second U.S. studio album 'THE DREAMING' in 2021. Monsta X, which proved its solid global foothold by entering the Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks with 'THE DREAMING,' aims to precisely target global listeners' tastes this year, their 10th anniversary, with deeper emotion and mood.
Debuting in 2015, Monsta X confirmed their decade of experience by wrapping up promotions for the Korean mini album 'THE X' in September. They proved the nickname 'believe-listen-do' (trustworthy performance to watch and listen to) with the pre-release track 'Do What I Want' and the title track 'N the Front,' and with that album they reached No. 31 on the Billboard 200, marking the first time a Korean record entered that chart. At the same time, they appeared on numerous charts such as World Albums, Independent Albums, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales and Billboard Artist 100, demonstrating their consistent global strength.
Having established themselves as a global K-pop icon, Monsta X will also join the 2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour (hereafter "Jingle Ball Tour"), starting Dec. 12 (local time) at Madison Square Garden in New York. They will then perform in four cities: Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on the 15th, Capital One Arena in Washington on the 16th, and Kaseya Center in Miami on the 20th.
