'Radio Star' musical actress and singer Ivy voiced her difficulties in establishing a one-person agency.
On the 12th broadcast of MBC entertainment show 'Radio Star', Ivy, who debuted as a sexy diva and is a spice and heroine of the musical world, appeared. This is already the fourth time she has appeared on 'Radio Star' just to promote her musical. Ivy had already established a one-person agency and had been running it for quite some time as its representative.
Ivy said, "It's been quite a while since I set up a one-person agency. Because I only do musicals, it's nice to be able to choose projects as I please, but running everything alone isn't easy," and added, "Why does payday come so quickly? I only have two employees, but now I also have junior actors under the agency, and because I have to earn money by myself, there was pressure."
However, she said the company does not take any of the earnings of the junior and the actors including herself. Ivy said, "The company earns zero. The actors take everything. I didn't set it up to make money for the company; I set it up to help juniors. Actors take about 80% of broadcast appearances, but all musical revenue goes to the actors," expressing her noble intention.
