Actor Oh Yeon-soo's reason for revealing her daily life and son through her YouTube channel was revealed after one year.
Oh Yeon-soo uploaded a video titled "YouTube channel 1st anniversary and my birthday. A record of an ordinary day with nothing special" to her YouTube channel on the 11th.
In the video, Oh Yeon-soo celebrated the first anniversary of launching her YouTube channel. Oh Yeon-soo recalled, "I started YouTube on my birthday last year, and already one year has passed. The day I went out holding a camera I wasn't used to yet and filmed is still vivid in my memory."
Returning to the place where she first filmed for YouTube, Oh Yeon-soo explained, "The start of my YouTube is not to show off to others, and I'm definitely not seeking attention. I started with the idea of making my daily life into videos like a diary."
In particular, Oh Yeon-soo added, "I think some people may feel uncomfortable at times and may have different thoughts from mine. But regardless of what anyone says, I will continue with the idea I had at the beginning, and since the concept is what I decided, I will steadily create my own album that I can always take out, at my own pace, as I have been."
Oh Yeon-soo expressed her conviction, "Don't try to be more developed. Don't try to use a better camera; a comment that I remember said that the way you are now, just as you are, is the best. I am a little lacking, but I will maintain the appearance I intended at the beginning. I will try to communicate without stress and enjoy it while keeping an appropriate line, not overflowing or lacking, at my own sensibility and pace."
Oh Yeon-soo announced her start as a YouTuber by uploading a video titled "Time when I focus only on myself. Half-day routine. Seoul Forest. Is this how you do it?" on Oct. 27 last year. Posting every two weeks for a year, Oh Yeon-soo shared travels with her husband Son Ji-chang, memories, a weekend farm, overseas trips, daily life, and continued to interact with viewers, and she currently has about 50,000 subscribers.
In particular, last June she revealed for the first time her son by sharing footage of attending her eldest son's graduation. Oh Yeon-soo had said that her eldest son, who attends university in the United States, would graduate in April, and she and her husband Son Ji-chang attended the son's graduation ceremony and shared their joy.
