'HYBE global group' &TEAM (앤팀) has received the Japan Record Association's 'double platinum' certification for its Korean debut album.
On the 12th, according to the Japan Record Association, &TEAM (Eui-ju, Fuma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Cho, Harua, Taki, Maki)'s Korean mini 1st album 'Back to Life', released on Oct. 28, surpassed cumulative shipments of 500,000 as of Oct. 2025.
The Japan Record Association grants certifications each month based on cumulative album shipments, classifying them as 'gold' (100,000 or more), 'platinum' (250,000 or more), 'double platinum' (500,000 or more), 'triple platinum' (750,000 or more), and million (1,000,000 or more).
&TEAM has thus placed all of its physical releases on the Japan Record Association's certification list. Previously, their debut album 'First Howling : ME' and mini 2nd album 'First Howling : WE' and full-length 1st album 'First Howling : NOW' achieved 'platinum', first single 'Samidare' and second single 'Aoarashi', and full-length 2nd album 'Yukiakari' each achieved 'double platinum'. The previous third single 'Go in Blind' received the team's first 'million' certification.
'Back to Life' was the first album &TEAM introduced in Korea, selling more than 1.13 million copies on its first day alone and instantly earning the 'million-seller' title. Afterwards, 'Back to Life' recorded cumulative sales of 1,222,022 during the week (Oct. 28–Nov. 3), topping major album charts in Korea and Japan.
Also, &TEAM achieved three consecutive number ones on Korean music shows with the album's title track of the same name, 'Back to Life', winning first place on SBS M's The Show, MBC M's Show! Champion, and KBS2's MUSIC BANK, earning a triple crown on Korean music broadcasts. Positive evaluations say their catchy music and outstanding performance ability are receiving strong responses and can succeed not only in the K-pop scene but also on the world stage.
