IVE group member Jang Wonyoung bought a luxury villa in Hannam-dong's UN Village for 13.7 billion won.
According to the real estate industry and the Supreme Court registry on the 12th, Jang Wonyoung purchased a unit of 244㎡ exclusive area at Lucid House in Hannam-dong, Seoul, in March for 13.7 billion won.
Since no mortgage lien is registered on the registry, it is presumed to be an all-cash transaction. The seller is reported to be Lee Ji-yong, second-generation of the DL group and former CEO of DAELIM TRADING.
In this regard, Jang Wonyoung's agency Starship Entertainment told OSEN that the matter is personal so they could not confirm it, but added that they understand the property is intended for family residence.
The luxury villa Jang Wonyoung purchased is located in Hannam-dong's UN Village, known for its position offering views of both the Han River and Namsan, and for its scarcity with only 15 households in total. With a 24-hour security system and private elevators, it is also positive in terms of privacy protection.
The villa is especially famous for being where actress Kim Tae-hee lived before marrying Bi.
Born in 2004, Jang Wonyoung finished first in Mnet's audition program 'Produce 48' in 2018 and promoted as a member of IZ*ONE. After the group's activities ended, she re-debuted as a member of IVE under Starship Entertainment.
IVE, of which Jang Wonyoung is a member, held their second world tour "SHOW WHAT I AM" at Seoul KSPO DOME (Gymnastics Arena) from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.
