Stray Kids pre-released part of the instrumental tracks from their new album and raised anticipation for their comeback.
Stray Kids will release the new album SKZ IT TAPE (SKZ it tape) "DO IT" on Nov. 21. Ahead of that, on the afternoon of the 11th they raised attention by posting spoiler teasing content on their official social media channels that gives a glimpse of the songs' atmosphere.
The content included instrumental tracks for four songs in total: the double title tracks "Do It" and "Sinsennoreum", as well as "Holiday" and "Photobook." Tracks carrying distinct energies meet lyrics written directly by the group's producing team 3RACHA, increasing curiosity about the synergy that will be achieved upon completion.
In particular, previously unreleased concept photos were unveiled, delighting fans. The eight members, cast as aura-filled "modern immortals," left an impact as movement was added with leaves and hair swaying in the wind, birds flying in the sky and waves.
SKZ IT TAPE is a music series newly presented by Stray Kids following the "Mixtape Project" that has been carried out since 2019 and SKZHOP HIPTAPE (SKZhop Hiptape), first introduced in December last year. They plan to unfold the hottest and most definite mood they want to show at this point through music.
The first work, "DO IT," is generating hot buzz even before its official release. It proudly ranked No. 1 on Spotify's "Countdown Chart Global Top 10" released on the 5th. The chart, which ranks based on the number of pre-saves by Spotify users worldwide over a week, saw it reach No. 1 as the first K-pop album to do so, proving its overwhelming popularity and interest.
Meanwhile, the album SKZ IT TAPE "DO IT," which captures the decisive moment of certainty "This is it!", will be released on the 21st at 2 p.m. (midnight Eastern Time in the U.S.).
