The nonprofit organization 'JBRICKS MOVEMENT' (JBRICKS MOVEMENT) will hold a charity bazaar and mini concert.
'The 1st JBRICKS Festival' will be held at JBRICKS Hall (B1) in MJ Town, 46 Mokdongjungangbuk-ro 1-gil, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, starting at 1 p.m. on Dec. 6. Members of 'JBRICKS Church' and former Homage Acting Academy, current JBRICKS members and actors have come together. A mini concert featuring Able Road and Kim Bo-yeon is also prepared.
The proceeds and donated goods from the day will be donated to 'JBRICKS MOVEMENT' and the international NGO IJM. It is an organization with a vision to protect 500 million people by 2030 and save millions by creating a world without violence and exploitation against poor people. It is addressing the fundamental problems of those left in blind spots of justice.
Lee Tae-young, director of 'JBRICKS MOVEMENT,' said, "I have been deeply pained for a long time after hearing about the cruel reality faced by children who suffer violence and exploitation," and added, "Through this JBRICKS Festival, I want to give those children even a little strength."
He also said, "There are so many people helping with this bazaar," and "From entertainment industry officials to active actors and members of JBRICKS Church, a variety of people have gathered with good intentions. Everyone wholeheartedly gave their time and items to raise funds. I thank them once again."
At 'The 1st JBRICKS Festival,' actors Chae Song-hwa, Choi Seong-hee, Chae Ji-won, Lee Rin-ji, Choi Ji-hee, Shin Seung-tae, Yoon Do-ah, and newcomers Kim Ji-ye, Kim Min-jung, Kim So-young and others will lend their support. Hero Production and RoiRoi Seoul are cooperating.
Choi Yun-hyuk, adviser to 'JBRICKS MOVEMENT,' said, "The name JBRICKS originates from Ephesians 2:21, 'in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,'" and explained, "'JBRICKS' means 'Jesus' bricks (JESUS + BRICKS)' and symbolizes a community built on Jesus Christ and joined together to become a temple." He added, "JBRICKS has a vision to place Jesus Christ as the foundation and center of all ministries and, through unity, connect believers, the next generation and various cultural spheres to expand positive influence."
