CORTIS has appeared on the U.S. Billboard charts for nine consecutive weeks.
According to the latest chart released by U.S. music outlet Billboard (Nov. 15 issue), CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho)'s debut album "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES" landed at No. 6 on the "World Albums" chart. After entering the "World Albums" chart at No. 15 on Sept. 20 issue, it has remained on the chart for as many as nine weeks.
This means the music CORTIS created resonated with listeners around the world beyond language barriers. All the tracks on the album as well as the performances and music videos were co-created by all the members, making this achievement especially meaningful. CORTIS is creating a new wave in the K-pop market as a "young creator crew" that co-creates music, choreography and video.
With their debut album, CORTIS has achieved remarkable results on domestic and international album charts. "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES" surpassed cumulative sales of 960,000 copies on the Circle Chart's October monthly album chart. That is the highest sales among rookies who debuted this year. Considering the group has no members from audition programs or previously debuted members, this result is highly unusual. Thanks to its "long-run popularity," all eyes are on whether it will claim the title of the group's "first million-seller."
Meanwhile, CORTIS is scheduled to participate in large-scale year-end awards shows, including the "2025 MAMA AWARDS" at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on Oct. 28-29 and the "10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025" at Taiwan's Kaohsiung National Stadium on Dec. 6, where they are expected to make an impression on K-pop fandoms.
