Actress Oh Yeon-su expressed candid feelings on the first anniversary of opening her YouTube channel.
Oh Yeon-su uploaded a video titled "YouTube channel 1st anniversary and my birthday: a record of an ordinary day with nothing special" to her YouTube channel on the 11th.
In the video, Oh Yeon-su said, "The start of my YouTube is not to show off to others, and I'm certainly not an attention seeker."
Oh Yeon-su said, "I started with the idea of making my daily life into videos like a diary, so sometimes it may be uncomfortable to watch and you may have different thoughts from mine. But regardless of what anyone says, I will continue the idea I had at the beginning, and because I chose this concept, I plan to steadily continue at my tempo as I have been doing."
She added, "I think of it as an album I can take out and look at anytime when I'm older, and I will create my own album that can be viewed anywhere in the world as long as there is internet access."
She also said, "Looking through the gallery, I am reflecting on whether I have sincerely uploaded vlogs like a diary over the past year. And what I can say for sure is that the feeling I had when I started has not changed now."
She said, "There was a comment that deeply stayed with me. I saw comments like, 'Don't try to improve,' 'Don't try to use a better camera,' 'I just like it the way it is now,' 'Don't become more advanced.' They made me feel warm courage and affection, so I was really happy. I'm a bit lacking, but I will maintain the appearance I intended at the start. At my sensibility and my pace, I will communicate while keeping that proper balance without being excessive or insufficient, and try to enjoy YouTube without stress."
Meanwhile, Oh Yeon-su married actor Son Ji-chang in 1998 and has two sons.
